Antique 100% Original 18th Century Black Glass Dutch Onion Bottle Decorative

  

A wonderful condition 18th Century Dutch black glass onion form wine bottle, circa 1700 1730. This free blown bottle is deep, dark olive green in color.

The form is an early bulbous shape. It has a high cone shape kicked up underside; a sharp, circular pontil scar; and a tapering neck with an applied overlapping string rim.

It is in untouched original condition. The surface is clean and bright, especially for a nearly 300 year old bottle. If you are looking for a distinguished, unpolished, and legitimate early 18th century onion form wine bottle, they dont get much better. Height of the bottle is approximately 7 inches and the body diameter is 6 inches. If you have any other questions please let me know.
