A very attractive All Souls Common Room Oxford University cellar found wine bottle. Blackglass (dark olive green) freeblown cylinder wine sealed to mid body'All Souls Common Room. Kickup with light sand pontil.

Long tapering neck finished with double string rim. Era is circa 1770 -1790. Height : 255 mm / Diameter across base: 95 mm.

Good condition - please see photos Just a shallow surface chip just under stringrim (which looks to be quite probably caused in-manufacture as the lip is totally unaffected) and a completely seperate very small shallow thin chip under the top string rim which can only be seen from underneath, 8 mm.
