T Grove Ferne Park circa 1810 black glass sealed wine bottle Wiltshire

  

A superb black glass sealed wine bottle from Grove Park Wiltshire. Lovely sheen and crude sag base with deep basal kick up and glass encrusted pontil scar. As photographed there is a thin sliver of the lip edge. A minute rough edge under part of the rim out of sight. The house was situated some 5 miles from Shaftesbury.
