1700s black glass olive green clay mold Gin bottle barnacles / Florida

  
The bottle is blown in a dip mold, dates around 1725 and has an applied pig snout lip. It is 10 tall and was recovered from the ocean over 1 month ago. Photos 2-5 show all 4 sides. The barnacle growth covers all of the bottle including around the lip /neck area. On the bottom shows an open pontil mark.

To protect the bottle and the fragile growth I coated the sides with polyurethane. Condition wise the bottle is not perfect, it displays well. There is a crack along one of the side edges extending into one of the side panels.

I tried to capture it in the 7th photo. See my other auctions for more. Due to the fragile nature of the bottles I pack these well in larger size boxes. As always 100% satisfaction guaranteed.
