1700s COLONIAL ERA OPEN PONTIL FREE BLOWN BLACKGLASS FLOWER POT WINE BOTTLE

  
Here's a rare thick heavy blackglass early pontiled "flower pot" French wine bottle from the mid 1700s Colonial Period....... Free blown so it has no embossing and no mold seams..... Open pontil in deep sunken bottom.... Sharp sheared lip with crude applied ring collar..... Tapered "flower pot" shape cylinder with long neck.... A dug bottle with normal haze. This bottle came from an old Long Island, NY collection and was dug on Long Island.
