1770s COLONIAL ERA CRUDE FREE BLOWN PONTILED BLACKGLASS CYLINDER RUM BOTTLE

  
This is a crude early pontiled blackglass rum or liquor bottle free blown in the 1700s Colonial Period..... Crudely free blown so there are no mold seams.... Crude applied double ring collar.... 9 1/8"tall x 3 5/8"round..... Good condition with only one small chip on top ring of lip; no other damage. A dug bottle with light overall haze... These are getting much more difficult to find these days as the digging has all but dried up. We are thinning out the herd as we go through boxes of 50 years of digging...
