A good example of a late 1740 to 1790s English black glass onion bottle with a good neck. The string rim seems to be applied by a well crafted individual as its finished off rather well and the top pontil is extremely jagged from opening rather quickly for a pirates booty party.
All this adds in its appeal and gives the bottle great presence! Amazingly no chips or cracks. Height 18 inches, width 1 6 inches and depth 10 inches. L ow Pirate offers will probably not be welcomed. The item "17th Century Black Glass Wine Bottle Dutch English Onion Pirates Bottle Large" is in sale since Saturday, June 1, 2019.
