1840s PONTILED 3 PC MOLD STODDARD OLIVE AMBER ALE BOTTLE CRUDE WHITTLED NICE

  
Here's a super nice early pontiled 3 pc mold blown blackglass ale bottle in a nice Stoddard or New England olive amber color! Hand blown in 3 part mold.... Rough jagged pontil scar in sunken bottom....

Crude applied short tapered lip with ring.... 8 1/2"tall x 3 7/8"round.... Excellent shiny nice condition with only one small shallow flake on top edge of lip; no other damage. A nice clean bottle with only some light inside haze.

A great looking 1840s or 1850s ale bottle blown at a New England glasshouse. We just cant keep everything, so after 50 years of digging and collecting we have decided to part with many of our bottles to make room for more.. THIS IS A FIXED PRICE BOTTLE FOR SALE IN MY STORE.
