1850s PONTILED HALF POST BLOWN PINCH DECANTER & FLOWER STOPPER PAINTED WINDMILL
This is an early German half post blown pinch decanter from the mid 1800s... Complete with its original flower or "hat" ground glass stopper..... Bottle is hand blown in the German half post method with a crude ring around shoulder where you can see the extra gather/layer of glass.... Ground pontil scar on bottom...
Gold & black hand painted scenes of Dutch windmill, an old man, boats, etc...... 7 1/2"tall (9"with stopper).....
Square with pinched in middle.... 4 hollow columns around a small central hollow column..... Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage to bottle itself. Original ground glass stopper has a couple chips on edge.......... IF YOU LIVE WITHIN THE U.
