Here's an early blackglass wine bottle with Pineapple on applied shoulder seal... Dip mold blown, so there are no mold seams.... Crude sunken bottle with no obvious pontil scar....

Early sharp sheared lip with applied ring on neck.... A dug bottle, but pretty clean with only some faint haze.

I wonder if this bottle contained some kind of pineapple wine? It is over 160 years old. This is the only pineapple emb seal bottle I've seen! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
