1920, s Paste Stones Black Glass & Hand Embroidered Flowers Scent Bottle Brooch

What a really fabulous scent bottle come BROOCH this is. This is an antique miniature perfume bottle made into a brooch. The front has a hand embroidered floral spray behind a thin layer of plastic. It has been mounted in a pretty white metal frame studded with paste stones on the outer edge. The back is plain black glass. It has a little screw lid with glass dabber attached. No maker's marks etc. Please see pictures for more details and visual confirmation of condition.

There is some staining and discolouring on the background piece of fabric. The metal ware is tarnished and bent out of place in a couple of places. 38mm in diameter x 1cm deep. The brooch fitting sticks out a little further. Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are.
