A Large good example of a late 1630 to 1700's English black glass onion wine bottle with a good straight neck. The string rim seems to be applied by a well crafted individual as its finished off rather well and the top pontil is extremely jagged from a rather quickly opening for a after pirates plunder party.
All this adds in its appeal and gives the bottle great presence! Amazingly no chips or cracks as well.
Height 18 inches, width 1 6 inches and depth 10 inches. Very low Pirate offers will probably not be welcomed. The item "Antique Black Glass Wine Bottle 17th Century Dutch English Onion Pirates Bottle" is in sale since Thursday, August 1, 2019.
