Lovely unique hand-carved and hand-painted Chinese glass snuff bottle with black glass overlay decoration. Inside reverse painted bird and flower painting with calligraphy inscription.

Carved mother of pearl stopper. In good antique condition with one small chip to the upper rim.

Minor depression on the side of the bottle where it has been ground down and polished due to imperfection in the glass. 9.5 cm including stopper. Date of production: early 20th century.
