Brand & Greenberg - Blown Glass "Art Deco" Perfume Bottle - 4.25 with Matching Stopper. V-Shape bottle, Black/Clear bottle color, Orange/Clear stopper color. Etch signed "AG-AB 1986" (artists Ann Greenberg-Alex Brand). About the Artists: Ann Dee Greenberg and Alex Brand opened the Brand & Greenberg Blown Glass Studio in Corning, NY in the early 80's. The bottle is signed by the artists.

The Brand & Greenberg Studio no longer exists but many works of Ann Dee Greenberg and Alex Brand can be found at galleries across the U. Including the Corning Museum of Glass. This one can be yours at a low cost! Fun Fact: A similar piece can be found on the website of the Corning Museum of Glass (see Photo #10).

It is listed as a gift of artist Ann Dee Greenberg to the museum. (The tip of the stopper is listed as Red, while my the item for sale here has an orange tip). The website description is as follows. Deep transparent violet non-lead glass encased incolorless, stopper has opaque red tip; blown, furnace-worked and cased, cut.

Conical shape; small bubble of violet appearing black is thickly cased incolorless shaped into a cane with broad, flat shoulder and narrow base; pontilis ground and polished; solid colorless stopper has red tip that is ground andpolished to form a cane; stopper and neck opening ground to fit. Base ground and polished flat, flat polishedbase. The condition is good with no chips or cracks.

Please note: Due to age and wear, some small scratches can be seen on top of the bottle. They are very hard to see unless viewed up close in bright light.

They are hard to photograph (see Photo #11, between the stopper and the flash). Very nice transparent V-Shape bottle black/clear color with a matching Orange/Clear stopper.

The stopper fits nicely into the neck. Wide at the top, slim at the bottom, tapers to a thin base but is very stable.

4.25 tall including stopper. Bottle weight: 1 lb, 6.7oz. Bottle and stopper will be individually wrapped in bubble wrap and tissue.

Items will be placed inside secure box with foam wrap and peanuts. Photos have been provided as a visual condition of this item. More photos can be provided upon request.
