CZECH BLACK MOLDED FLOWER PERFUME BOTTLE, FIGURAL BUTTERFLY STOPPER, IRICE 1920s

  
This is a rare Czech IRICE black perfume bottle from the 1920's. The bottle looks like a bulbous shape molded with a flower blossom on front and faceted on back with a figural butterfly stopper. Back of bottle is shiny black, front is matte or frosted, and stopper is frosted clear glass. Measures: approx 5 1/2" Tall x 3 1/2" W x 2 3/4 D at widest point. The figural butterfly stopper is stunning. The height of the bottle with the stopper on is about 5 1/2. The condition of the butterfly on top of stopper is perfect, no damage. The stem & end of the stopper have been broken and reglued very well..

The end piece is still missing, so there is a chunk out of it. This is not really visible when displayed inside the bottle, only when topper is removed. Tiny nick at bottom of back bottle. Otherwise bottle itself is in perfect condition, no damage.

This is rare considering the fragile nature of the flower carving. There are some lines and swirls in glass on back of bottle. This is from the manufacturing process.
