The bottle is free blown, dates around 1720 and has an applied string lip. It is 7 1/2" tall and the bottom is 5 1/2" wide. I recovered the bottle from the ocean over 1 month ago.
The glass on the bottle on the outside has a matte patina all over on all sides and is free of any chips or cracks. The bottle has wear from rolling and banging on the bottom. Also it has staining on the inside and outside. Photos 2-4 show all sides and photo # 8 shows a small open or blow pipe pontil scar. See my other auctions for more. This bottle is a 2nd time offering for this type and makes for great decor. Due to the fragile nature of the bottle I pack these well in larger size boxes.
