THIS CIRCA EARLY 1700-20 TRUE DUTCH "BELL" ONION WINE, WAS FOUND IN THE OCEAN OFF THE FLORIDA KEYS, BACK IN THE 1960'S, AND IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THERE NO BRUISES, FLASHES, STAINS, POT STONES, ABRASIONS, OR CRACKS. IT DOES HAVE ENTRAPPED BUBBLES, SOME SPARSE SUSPENDED QUARTZ IMPURITIES, ROLL MARKS FROM THE OCEAN FLOOR, AND WHITTLE THROUGHOUT, THAT GIVES THIS WINNER REAL CHARACTER. THIS LARGER THAN LIFE BEAUTY STANDS 6 7/8" HIGH FROM THE OUT OF ROUND, 5 1/4" ACROSS, BIG BLOWPIPE PONTILED AND DEEPLY INDENTED BASE, UP TO THE HAND FASHIONED, THICK OVERLAPPING STRING LIP, AS SHOWN.
SURE WOULD LIKE TO LOOK THIS GOOD AT 300+ YEARS OLD. IT'S REALLY A WINNER.
