THIS CIRCA EARLY 1800-20 BLACK GLASS UTILITY/WINE, WAS FOUND IN THE OCEAN OFF THE FLORIDA KEYS, BACK IN THE 1960'S, AND IS ABOUT AS CRUDE AS A BOTTLE CAN BE, BUT IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. IT ACTUALLY LEANS TO ONE SIDE WHEN STANDING. THERE NO BRUISES, FLASHES, STAINS, POT STONES, ABRASIONS, OR CRACKS. IT DOES HAVE ENTRAPPED BUBBLES, SOME SPARSE SURFACE SCRATCHES, WHITTLE THROUGHOUT, AND REALLY CRUDENESS, THAT GIVES THIS WINNER REAL CHARACTER. THIS LARGER THAN LIFE BEAUTY STANDS 9 1/2" HIGH FROM THE OUT OF ROUND, 3 3/8" ACROSS, BIG BLOWPIPE PONTILED AND DEEPLY INDENTED BASE, UP TO THE HAND FASHIONED, THICK MILKMAID STYLE LIP, WITH AN OVERLAPPING COLLAR, AS SHOWN.
SURE WOULD LIKE TO LOOK THIS GOOD AT 200+ YEARS OLD. IT'S REALLY A TOP SHELF BLACK GLASS WINNER. The item "FLA KEYS SHIPWRECK OCEAN FINDUNUSUALLY CRUDEPONTILEDBLACK GLASSUTILITY/WINE" is in sale since Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
