THIS CIRCA EARLY 1700-20 TRUE DUTCH ONION WINE, WAS DUG OFF AN OUT ISLAND OFF THE FLORIDA KEYS, BACK IN THE 1960'S, AND IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THERE NO BRUISES, FLASHES, DINGS, POT STONES, OR CRACKS. IT DOES HAVE ENTRAPPED TEARDROP BUBBLES, SOME SUSPENDED QUARTZ IMPURITIES, SURFACE SCRATCHES, AND WHITTLE THROUGHOUT, THAT GIVES THIS WINNER REAL CHARACTER. THIS CRUDE BEAUTY STANDS 6 3/4" HIGH FROM THE OUT OF ROUND, 5 1/2" ACROSS, BIG BLOWPIPE PONTILED, AND DEEPLY INDENTED BASE, UP TO THE HAND FASHIONED, OVERLAPPING THICK STRING LIP, AS SHOWN.
I SURE WOULD LIKE TO LOOK THIS GOOD AT 300+ YEARS OLD.
