THIS CIRCA EARLY 1700'S TRUE DUTCH ONION WAS TAKEN OUT OF THE ATLANTIC OCEAN OFF THE FLORIDA KEYS, BACK IN THE 1960'S, AND IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, WITH NO CHIPS, BRUISES, FLASHES, STAINS, POT STONES, OR CRACKS. IT DOES HAVE ENTRAPPED BUBBLES, ONE THAT IS INSIDE THE NECK, LITE SURFACE SCRATCHES, SUSPENDED IMPURITIES, AND WHITTLE THROUGHOUT THAT GIVES THIS WINNER REAL CHARACTER.
IT STANDS 7" HIGH FROM THE OUT OF ROUND, 5 1/2" ACROSS BLOWPIPE PONTILED, AND DEEPLY INDENTED BASE, UP TO THE HAND APPLIED, THICK OVERLAPPING STRING LIP, AS SHOWN. CAN YOU IMAGINE SERVING YOUR GUESTS WINE OUT OF THIS 300 YEAR OLD PIECE OF HISTORY, BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT I DO.
