Hattie Carnegie Black Glass and Gilded Inkwell Perfume Bottle

  

This lovely, vintage perfume bottle was introduced in 1925. The bottle is black glass with gilded trim and decorations and the stopper is gilded as well. The glass is by Depinoix. There are a couple of tiny fleabites on the bottom edge of the dowel on the stopper but these are very tiny.

The gilded decoration on the flat panels of the bottle are in excellent condition with almost no wear present. There is a scant amount of gilding loss on the lower gilded "ring" on the bottom of the neck - again - this is a very small amount. The bottle measures 2 3/4" in height and is 4" across the bottom when measures on the diagonal. The points on the stopper are all excellent with no chipping.

There are no chips, cracks or damage to the base at all. This is a beautiful, classic bottle in excellent, vintage condition.
