LABEL UNDER GLASS 1860s GROUND PONTIL APOTHECARY BOTTLE With TIN COVER LID

  

Antique large 1890's apothecary species jar with original silver, black, and gold tin lid. It is 10 3/4" tall and 4 1/2" wide. The jar and the lid are in good vintage condition. No chips or cracks on the jar, with a very clean rim.

The black tin lid has a gold painted band around the top and bottom. Much of the black paint is worn away on the sides. It is correct to the jar, and is in very good condition. The paint on the lid is very old and shows age and wear. The gold and navy blue label is original to the bottle and in good condition for its age.

It has the name Lappa Major in black lettering. The label l is completely readable. This is an early pontil style jar. Add it to your old pharmacy or home décor today. Don't miss it collectors!
