CHOPPING PRICES OF MANY ITEMS! GERMAN glass schnapps flask, BLACK GLASS with very early enameled painted decorations; love birds over a red heart on front, outstanding patterns of vines and leaves on sides and archaic German verse with the date "1732". This gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous flask is the deepest amethyst we have ever seen in such a flask. You can only determine that it is, in fact, amethyst if you hold it directly in front of the sun or a very bright light, see last photo.

The glass is perfect with only some very minor wear and tons of base wear. The original pewter collar with screw treads is intact, but the treads are worn. About 6 1/2tall x 3 1/4 wide. One of the best possible examples of a bottle of this type and certainly one of the earliest dated ones that exist! Please be patient when inquiring or ordering.
