RARE 19th CENTURY BLACK GLASS 8 Hand Blown Bottle PAPERWEIGHT

Item appears to be in good used condition. Showing light signs of wear. Only wear at all is one small chip on bottom.

It has some material in the glass. No scratches light surface rub. This piece is 5.5" in diameter 1.5" tall 3/4 thick and weighs 1 lb.

This could be used as an ashtray though I believe it was made during the workers free time. This is what is today would be called a lunch time piece. Know more commonly today in pottery. These would be made by glassblowers during there lunch break as a hobby. When you do a repetitive job every day and only make one thing ever you get bored.

Some workers would make pieces here and there on thier breaks. You will almost never find these pieces as they would get broken and most people not knowing what they were would throw them away over the years. I do not do any repairs, cleaning or touch up work to any of the items I offer. These are vintage/ antique preowned items so look at the pictures in detail. DONT JUST WATCH THE ITEM MAKE AN OFFER!!
