RARE antique black glass whisky bottle HOFFMAN & SONS PATENT shoulder 1830s

  
This is a very early circa 1830s 3-piece mold black glass whiskey bottle. This bottle is based embossed J. There is also "PATENT" embossed on the shoulder in small letters. This bottle has all the characteristics of an early 20th century bottle, crude applied top, chunky whittle in the glass, and a faint but evident pontil scar. This bottle has no chips dings or cracks of any kind, there are some light scratches and some stain on the glass. This bottle is 10 1/2'' tall and 3 1/4'' wide.
