This beautiful perfume bottle was hand made by Valerie Surjan of California. On one side of the perfume bottle you'll find carved/etched five Graceful, Long Necked Giraffes in various poses against a golden backdrop with the outline of trees hung above.
Beneath is a long rectangular criss-cross design. On the reverse is a scene out of paradise itself, carved/etched Acacia or Candelabra Trees with a triple tier rise of landscape and trees with grass in the foreground. The gold of the reverse side shows through the clear glass. The interior wherein is received the long, gracious stopper is solid black. This black shows on both the front and back of the perfume bottle. Truly a work of art painstakingly created! The perfume bottle is approx. 5 wide at its widest and approx. 4 tall without stopper inserted. With the stopper inserted, the perfume bottle is approx. I put it on a light source (not included) so that you could appreciate the workmanship better. It is in excellent condition, as in I personally, could find no fault to it. Thank you for viewing this item and please check out my other listings. Here is an interesting tidbit about the Candelabra tree. This striking cactus-like tree is a type of euphorbia named for the multi-stemmed crown's resemblance to a decorative candelabra. The toxic latex was used as an ingredient in arrow poison in many traditional hunter-gatherer cultures, and it is avoided by most animals, an exception being black rhinos, which may use it as a substitute for water in times of drought.
