The base is black glass and the stopper green glass. I have been collecting all kinds of perfume bottles since the 1990's. Authentic Czech bottles are particularly beautiful, and it all began in the early 20.

Century when Czechoslovakia became a hub for glass artistry. 1924 was the first "artistic crystalware" for perfume bottles produced by Joseph Schmidt. He was followed by Herich Hoffman in 1924 - 25.

In the 90's, the old molds were found and reproductions made. One thing you can be certain of, is that a jeweled Czech perfume bottle is generally not a reproduction, especially if the jeweled ornamentation is crafted well. Neiger Brothers were known for both their jewelry and for adding jewelry to perfume bottles. This perfume bottle base is black glass with a design of 2 stars cut out of the sides.

See pics 3 & 4. The brass filigree has alternating light green triangular glass alternating with faux pearls. There is one pearl missing-see photo 2. I also found another signature on the brass filigree, see photo 8.

The neck of the perfume bottle has several flea bites/nicks at the neck, see photo 5. The green glass stopper is rectangular and has a few flea bites on the sides, and one 1/8-inch chip on the base of the stopper-see photos 6 & 7. Due to the age of this bottle, probably 100 years old, it is not surprising bottle is not pristine. The underside of the bottle is polished and signed: CZECHOSLOVAKIA. Height of the perfume bottle is: 1 ¾ inches tall.
