We offer for your consideration this vintage Czechoslovakian perfume bottle. This bottle is made in black glass with a clear stopper/dauber, with a floral intaglio design that somewhat mirrors the design on the bottle. The petals and center of the flower are cut facets and cross hatching that can been seen on the starbursts on the bottle. Even the offset coin edge faceting can be seen mirrored on the pointed edges of the bottle. This bottle carries on the bottom an etched oval label that reads "Made in Czechoslovakia". We have seen similar bottles described as "ART Deco" Perhaps due to the faceting on the stopper and bottle edges. The bottle itself measures approximately 2 5/8 inches tall, approximately 2 inches wide, and approximately 1 1/4 inches front to back. The stopper/dauber is approximately 3 1/6 inches tall, approximately 1 5/8 inches wide, and approximately 3/8 inches thick, not including the stopper diameter. This bottle is in very nice condition, but we must point out that there is a small fleabite on the inner rim of the bottle mouth.
There is also a tiny fleabite on one of the flower petals on the bottle (see pictures). If you are a collector of vintage perfume bottles, and have a particular fondness for bottles made in Czechoslovakia, this bottle will be a wonderful addition to your collection.
