Brand New Wheaton 216629 Clear Glass Round 16oz Safety Coated Jar, with 70-400 Black Phenolic Poly-Vinyl Lined Screw Cap (Pack of 12). PVC-based plastisol coats exterior of jar retaining contents if jar is accidentally broken. Made from clear soda lime glass that conforms to USP Type III requirements. Jars with screw caps come attached to help maintain cleanliness. Autoclaving / sterilizing bottle is not recommended. Create a safe work environment with Wheaton Safety Coated Jars. If a jar is accidentally broken, the PVC based plastisol coating on the outside of jar retains the contents long enough for proper disposal. The wide mouth style is ideal when used for powders and viscous samples.
